1. Acceptance and authority
By using the website, submitting a form, creating an account, or purchasing a service, you agree to these terms. If you enroll a learner under legal age, you confirm that you are authorized to act for that learner.
2. Programs and enrollment
- Program availability, format, schedule, instructor, location, and learning materials may vary.
- Placement recommendations help identify a suitable starting point but do not guarantee a particular result or completion time.
- A place is confirmed only after Salis accepts the enrollment and receives any required payment.
- Salis may make reasonable changes needed for safety, staffing, educational quality, or circumstances outside its control.
3. Accounts and accurate information
You are responsible for providing accurate information, protecting account credentials, and notifying us promptly of unauthorized use or important changes affecting the learner.
4. Fees and payment
Current fees, taxes, payment schedules, and accepted methods are shown during enrollment or confirmed in writing. Prices may change for future purchases, but a change will not alter an already confirmed purchase unless both parties agree or the law requires it.
Refunds, withdrawals, cancellations, and missed classes are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy available on this website.
5. Attendance and learner conduct
Learners should attend on time, participate respectfully, follow safety and platform rules, and avoid disrupting others. Parents and learners must not record, distribute, or publish classes, learners, instructors, or private communications without prior permission.
6. Acceptable website use
- Do not misuse, disrupt, probe, reverse engineer, or attempt unauthorized access to the website or its systems.
- Do not upload unlawful, harmful, infringing, deceptive, or malicious material.
- Do not resell, copy, or commercially exploit Salis services or materials without written permission.
7. Intellectual property
The website, curriculum, lessons, worksheets, videos, branding, and other Salis materials are owned by Salis or its licensors. Enrollment gives the learner a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use provided materials for learning only.
8. Third-party platforms
Classes and website features may depend on third-party platforms for video calls, learning management, forms, payments, or communications. Their terms and privacy practices also apply, and availability may be outside Salis’s control.
9. Educational results and availability
We aim to provide high-quality learning, but progress depends on factors such as attendance, practice, starting level, and individual needs. We do not guarantee a particular result. The website and services may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance, safety, or events beyond reasonable control.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Salis is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the website or services. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded. Any direct liability will be limited as permitted by law and in relation to the affected service.
11. Suspension and termination
Salis may suspend or end access for non-payment, serious or repeated rule violations, safety concerns, unlawful conduct, or misuse of services. Where reasonably possible, we will explain the issue and allow an opportunity to resolve it.
12. Changes, governing law, and contact
We may update these terms for future use of the services. The latest date appears above. These terms are governed by applicable Canadian laws and the laws of the province connected to the service, without limiting mandatory consumer rights.
